Makes me lean towards the 64-bit version. But there are still a few things that I don't understand. This solution seems to have worked for everybody here and that From what I see it looks like the drivers might be a problem. But I haven't installed it yet, as I was trying to decide if I would install the 32-bit or the 64-bit version. The Vista recovery discs (that I had made) don't seem to work on a new hard drive. It has worked very well untill recently my hard drive crashed and I replaced it with a new one. It is 2015 now and I still have my VAIO VGN-FZ340E. I posted all the words I searched for in this note hoping someone will find the solution faster next time. I'd rather see my money go to a good cause than Sony.

Your fix also corrects the WebCam lost microphone problem where the WebCam microphone suddenly stops working and is no longer accessible to applications on the computer. The solution fixes all driver problems with Sony Vaio/ArcSoft Motion Eye WebCams (also known as the Sony VisualĬommunications Camera). Unfortunately it is not posted on the Sony site and took quite some time to sift through the web to find. He refused to give me the driver package unless I bought their service. Mind you all I asked for was the install package for the drivers. His manager came on and offered me a $35 special to fix this problem. I asked how much to fix just this problem.
